With qualified damp and timber surveyors, trained PCA technicians and skilled plastering experience within the company, we can manage projects from the initial investigation through to treatment and the final plastered finish.

Stefan Chapman
Director and CSTDB/CSJK-Qualified Surveyor
Stefan is a company director and holds the CSTDB qualification in timber and dampness and the CSJK qualification in Japanese knotweed. He also holds an Advanced Level 3 plastering qualification.
Stefan has a particular interest in timber decay, fungal growth and wood-boring insects. He carries out property investigations, prepares reports and quotations, and helps customers understand both the cause of a problem and the recommended treatment.
Stefan and fellow director Ashley have worked together since 2006 and established CureDamp in 2016.
Away from work, Stefan enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, going to the gym and supporting Sheffield Wednesday.
Ashley Moore
Director and PCA-Qualified Technician
Ashley is a company director, qualified PCA technician and NVQ Level 2 plasterer, with more than 20 years of experience in damp proofing and property care.
Alongside carrying out remedial work, Ashley is highly experienced in inspecting properties, diagnosing damp-related problems and preparing quotations. His extensive practical knowledge helps him identify the likely cause of an issue and recommend an appropriate, workable solution.
Ashley specialises in damp-proofing installations and professional plastered finishes and is particularly skilled when a property presents a complex or unusual problem.
Alongside Stefan, Ashley helps manage CureDamp’s surveys and remedial projects, ensuring customers receive clear advice and work completed to the company’s high standards.
Away from work, Ashley enjoys spending time with his family and friends and watching a good television series. He has two children and is also Kyle’s uncle.
Kyle Moore
Apprentice Plasterer and Damp-Proofing Assistant
Kyle is CureDamp’s apprentice and is currently working towards his plastering qualification at Barnsley College.
Alongside his college training, Kyle gains practical experience on CureDamp projects under the supervision of Stefan and Ashley. He assists with site preparation, damp-proofing installations, plastering and keeping working areas clean and organised.
As he develops his skills and completes his plastering qualification, Kyle plans to progress to PCA technician training in damp-proofing treatments.
